🪪 Valid, current government-issued photo ID is required for all notarial acts. 

• Driver’s License or State ID
• U.S. or Foreign Passport
• Other approved IDs per California Gov. Code §8206

🚫 A California Notary Public cannot:

• Provide legal advice or draft legal documents
• Notarize without the signer present
• Notarize incomplete documents
• Notarize if the signer cannot be identified

🔒 In compliance with California Gov. Code §8206:

• A sequential journal is maintained for all acts
• All client information is kept confidential
